Tuesday, March 3, 6:30-7:30pm When you’re eating to beat cancer, do you need to completely shun sugar? There’s more to the concept of “sugar feeds cancer” than stowing the sugar bowl and declining dessert. You will learn about the role of insulin resistance in cancer growth, why cancer cells prefer sugar, and nutrition strategies for stabilizing blood sugar.
