Fee: $12 for AARP members, $14 for nonmembers; payable in class by check to AARP. AARP will once again recognize all veterans of any branch of the armed services of the United States during the month of November by offering them the class at no charge.  Spouses, widows and dependents of veterans are also eligible to take the class at no charge.  They will also have a coupon to fill out that will require the veteran's military ID number.
