The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will host a National Provider Call on the 2007 Physician Quality Reporting Initiative. This toll-free call will provide detailed information about how to select and implement PQRI measures in clinical practice, and facilitate successful reporting. The presentation will discuss how eligible professionals can:

• Identify eligible cases based on ICD-9-CM and CPT Category I codes;
• Choose the correct quality-data codes to report;
• Know when to use "exclusion modifiers (i.e., 1P, 2P, and 3P); and
• Know when to use a reporting modifier (i.e., 8P).
