Cyberbullying—posting hurtful, embarrassing, or threatening text or images using the Internet, cell phones, or other digital communication devices—is a new, powerful form of bullying for boys and girls in their elementary and middle school years. By reaching a wide audience very quickly and often anonymously, cyberbullying presents new challenges for children who may face bullying in the roles of bully, victim, or bystander. This teleseminar will help you prepare children to deal effectively with cyberbullying in afterschool and child care programs.
Please encourage your child’s caregiver in your childcare center, after-school/youth program, and/or camp to join in our national teleseminars. Ask them to go to: http://www.eyesonbullying.org to register.
Funding was provided by the IBM Global Work/Life Fund.
