Presenter: Saralyn Hiley
Saralyn Hiley, MT(ASCP) is the Director of Central Georgia Diagnostics Laboratory Services at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Saralyn has been an active member of CLMA since 1998 and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Atlanta Chapter. With over twenty years experience in the laboratory, Saralyn has seen lab outreach services develop from a manual process to electronic, automated technology. Utilizing information technology to manage specimen processing, result delivery and courier service has significantly increased client satisfaction and added cost savings for the hospital. The outreach program currently performs over 500,000 tests annually and serves 300 clients in the Central Georgia area.
